Wyoming

People call this BIG SKY country and they are right. Wyoming has fewer people per square mile than most states and fresh air that made me want to take in as much as possible. From rolling hills and the expanse of open prairies where ranches are few and far between to mountains that seem to touch the sky.
The people here are friendly though the past has left a deep scar. One of the photographs below is of the barracks at what remains of Heart Mountain where Japanese Americans were held against their will during the Second World War.
Heart Mountain is near Powell Wyoming. I encourage you to visit if you are out this way and learn about the history many people would rather we forget.
