I was out here in the middle of Death Valley in April 2022. The temperature was over 100 degrees at noon and 32 degrees at sunrise. My fingers were so cold while I waited in the dark to get the shot and two hours later I was hot and trying to hide from the sun.
I traipsed over uneven ground before dawn along the eastern hills of California and through the sand in Death Valley to get the photos you see here.
It was worth the effort and an adventure I will always remember. These adorn the walls in my home. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
