Two Rivers

The power of moving water is amazing, and water flowing freely as it always has is a delight to see.
When I shot this photo while standing on a bridge the water striking the support structure seemed to be intent on moving it out of the way so it could continue its journey at full speed.
People had set up camp on the shore amidst the non-stop sound of rushing water which I suspect kept some awake at night while others slept peacefully as thousands of gallons of water from mountain streams and lakes passed by ever second.
These two rivers are joined as one here and tumble downhill at breakneck speed.
