Sand Dunes
As I walked in the dark to the base of the sand dunes, I was very cold.
The humidity in the desert was six percent and without humidity the heat of the previous day had bled off like it was never there.
The dunes here are high and the wind nearly constant. I was fortunate to get the shot before the wind toppled my camera and tripod into the sand.
The clouds promised rain that never arrived.
An hour later the temperature had risen forty degrees.
