Iceland Rainbow

There are rainbows and then there are rainbows.
This one appeared above the mountain and framed the glacier near the summit.
This was an unplanned shot that begged to be photographed.
While the rainbow is now long gone the memory of it reaching from end to end on a fall afternoon will never be forgotten.
I stayed until the light changed and it was gone.
