Autumn Leaves

These two leaves may have spent the growing season together on a branch high up in the tree where they drank in sunlight and converted carbon dioxide to oxygen.
Now they spend their final days together and will soon nourish the ground and the tree from which they fell.
They reminded me of the song by Chad and Jeremy called A summer song in which they sing, “They say that all good things must end some day……”
