Missouri

I had the opportunity to visit the Lake of the Ozarks area in Missouri during the summer. The lake is beautiful and has two-thousand miles of shoreline above the dam. Almost all of it is private land though there are a number of state parks that offer recreation areas. The views from the top of the cliffs and the trails in the parks are spectacular.

I found the winding roads interesting and I am certain that motorcycle riders are thrilled to negotiate the gentle curves. There are small towns and coffee shops that feature homemade ice cream and pastries I had never tasted before. While touring the area I saw many unusual things worthy of a photo and I plan on returning to do more exploring.
