Minnesota

Minnesota

Minnesota is known as the land of ten-thousand lakes. The land is mostly flat with few changes in elevation. Yet there are plenty of wonderful views of waterfalls and open fields. The headwaters of the Mississippi in Itasca state park among old growth pine trees draws millions of visitors each year. The state is also known for outstanding fishing and deer hunting. Some of the largest Muskie ever caught on an inland lake were caught here. This is where I grew up, less than one-hundred miles from Canada where on a winter night when the sky is clear the northern light wave like a curtain almost straight overhead.
I encourage you to visit Minnesota where the people have a saying, “Minnesota nice” and they mean it.
